Quality Assurance

New Bridge believes that Quality Care has six components:

  1. Effective intervention (enhancing the employee's awareness and acceptance of an issue).
  2. Accessibility (convenience) and Availability (timeliness) of assistance and care.
  3. Excellence in Clinical Care (education, training and experience).
  4. An organized review of program for clinicians (feedback on performance).
  5. A structured recovery environment for the employee (short and long-term case management).
  6. Positive communication skills.

Our quality assurance efforts are built into our program services with the following goals in mind:

  1. Ensure the maintenance of complete and adequate clinical records.
  2. Ensure appropriate clinical decisions for treatment referral and ongoing care for inpatient and outpatient clients.
  3. Ensure the efficient utilization of resources.
  4. Protect the health, safety and confidentiality of our clients.

In addition, the following quality steps are taken on a yearly basis:

  • Annual check to assure current licensure and certifications.
  • Annual check that malpractice and liability insurance is in effect.
  • Process through client satisfaction and training evaluation forms.
  • Planning of individual counselor continuing education for the year.
