Quality Assurance
New Bridge believes that Quality Care has six components:
- Effective intervention (enhancing the employee's awareness and acceptance of an issue).
- Accessibility (convenience) and Availability (timeliness) of assistance and care.
- Excellence in Clinical Care (education, training and experience).
- An organized review of program for clinicians (feedback on performance).
- A structured recovery environment for the employee (short and long-term case management).
- Positive communication skills.
Our quality assurance efforts are built into our program services with the following goals in mind:
- Ensure the maintenance of complete and adequate clinical records.
- Ensure appropriate clinical decisions for treatment referral and ongoing care for inpatient and outpatient clients.
- Ensure the efficient utilization of resources.
- Protect the health, safety and confidentiality of our clients.
In addition, the following quality steps are taken on a yearly basis:
- Annual check to assure current licensure and certifications.
- Annual check that malpractice and liability insurance is in effect.
- Process through client satisfaction and training evaluation forms.
- Planning of individual counselor continuing education for the year.
